Subaru Impreza

At the wheel of the Subaru Impreza, you will feel the undeniable pull of the racetrack. The model has an impressive rally heritage, and the road version makes a confident return to UK dealerships. Not only does it keep up with your busy lifestyle and desire to travel – it offers an individual sense of adventure.

This inspiring character doesn't mean the Impreza is without rewarding returns, as it's also been engineered for frugal fuel consumption and clean output. Meanwhile, the cabin is well equipped to meet the highest demands, and does so by combining ample space for passengers and luggage with cutting-edge technology. A true all-rounder, it's the hatchback for the modern motorist.

Introducing the Impreza 1.6i RC

Impreza 1.6i RC £18,940 OTR
Impreza 1.6i RC Lineartronic £20,425 OTR

A single RC version of the Impreza provides everything that the discerning driver needs. The specification list is lengthy and comprehensive, with standard features such as Bluetooth® connectivity and automatic rain-sensing wipers. Ergonomic buttons built into the steering wheel operate the cruise control and audio systems without you needing to take your eyes from the road.

The RC trim offers even more clever convenience features to enrich each journey. The steering wheel and driver's seat is fully adjustable to accommodate each individual driver's needs, while a 60/40 split folding rear bench allows longer items to be carried comfortably. Cargo hooks at the rear hold items securely in place, and a retractable cover keeps valuables out of sight.

Technology

When you make a Subaru your own, you choose a car packed with intelligent, advanced systems that improve every aspect of motoring. Selecting the Impreza ensures that you can take full advantage of these many innovative developments by the award-winning manufacturer, as knowledge is shared between the firm's motorsport and road car divisions.

When these technologies come together, the outcome is a drive that's rewarding, confident, and safe no matter how testing the conditions.

Dynamic Chassis Control

The Subaru Dynamic Chassis Control Concept is one of the main driving factors behind the Impreza's remarkably fluid handling. High-tensile steel is used in critical areas for added resilience, and this lightweight rigidity in turn accentuates the natural feel of the car in motion.

Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive

Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive is a new, integral feature to all Subaru vehicles. The drivetrain and engine have been arranged in a perfect straight line and symmetrically down the
middle of the Impreza. That positioning is deliberate, as it ensures that the same level of power can be pushed to each wheel.

As such, you enjoy stronger control and handling in more challenging weather and road conditions. Through wind and rain, over tarmac, gravel and dirt lanes, the Impreza dominates.

Boxer Engine

Named for the 'punch-counterpunch' piston motion, the Boxer engine is now available across the Subaru range. This full adoption makes the horizontally-opposed engine the first in this configuration to be constructed and optimised specifically for passenger cars.

The natural, low centre of gravity results from the deliberate lower positioning of the Boxer engine inside the Impreza. You'll feel the benefit in the thrilling acceleration and smooth,
agile movements of the model on the road.

Safety

Your security – and that of your passengers – is always a primary consideration in the construction of a Subaru. As a result, all models are fitted with an array of measures to prevent and mitigate collisions, secure cabin occupants and alert drivers to the hazards around them.

The Impreza's equipment includes whiplash-reducing front seats and a safety pedal system, testament to Subaru's painstaking attention to detail in design. The comprehensive airbag arrangement also includes one strategically positioned at the driver's knees. Families will find the Impreza to be secure and practical, as it also comes with child-proof rear door locks and ISOFIX child seat attachments.

On the road the manufacturer's symmetrical all-wheel drive system glues the Impreza to the road by optimising the traction available, and also improves overall stability. You'll feel in control around every bend, as the handling reacts instantly to any change of course.
